What is it about music that makes us feel?
Bring on the rhythm

and let it hit my soul, in that visceral way

that brings out something in me

I didn’t even realize existed until this moment

but now I NEED it, and not only that:

I need more and more of it

and more is never enough for long because

it all starts to make sense when you get that feeling.

It’s that release we feel

that has kept this artform alive forever

that has made people love, hate, create, destroy,

that inspires children to bang on pots and pans

that can bring tears of laughter or of joy.

That’s the thing about music:

You don’t just love it. You live it.
